Avengers #4 CGC NM+ 9.6 White

Incredible NM+ copy from of the classic Avengers #4 from March, 1964!! Tied as the second highest CGC certified and 5th finest existing copy. Only 4 lucky 9.8's exist just above this smoker, one of which just sold for a record price of $143,400 in May at auction. This gorgeous example has incredible color strike, fresh BONE WHITE pages, nice cover alignment, a killer spine, a SNOW WHITE COVER and unbelievable eye appeal. We sold one of the other NM/M copies (August, 2013) for a then-record price of $120,000 and this 9.6 is actually just as nice (that book had off-white/white paper). We have seen over a handful of 9.6's and sold 5 already in our Grand Auctions and hands down this is the best, freshest and WHITEST one we have ever beheld.
