This example is absolutely stunning, with bold colors, perfect centering and cover alignment, fresh off-white pages and a Near-Mint Plus back cover. This is the nicest copy ever offered for sale of a very popular yet hard to find early 1940's Timely. Features the now classic Hitler, Hirohito and Mussolini flag cover plus the introduction and only appearance of the Black Avenger. Only 1 8.5 has ever sold publicly (the only VF+ in existence), and that was for $14,340 in August, 2015. The only 8.0 in existence fetched $9,657 in December, 2011.
