Description
First copy of this iconic issue we have had on the site! Might as well be a near-perfect Near-Mint Plus with the emphasis on PLUS. When of the greatest issues of the entire 1950's E.C. horror run with an incredible bondage cover courtesy of Graham Ingels and Wally Wood. This recently certified 9.6 is absolutely killer and is the third highest certified and 9th nicest existing example. What is amazing about this copy is that it is not a Gaines File Copy, as all the higher rated copies are (2 lucky 9.9's and 6 in 9.8). Incredibly fresh and vibrant with intense colors, off-white to white pages, pretty much perfect cover alignment and no noticeable flaws. Bill Gaines and Al Feldstein stories. Jack Kamen, Joe Orlando and Wood art. The most recent high-end sale is for a 9.2 for $12,810 in June. A 9.6 copy hasn't been offered for sale in almost 9 years!! Let the bidding begin!!!
