Description
From the awesome Don/Maggie Thompson Collection founded in 2011. Number 1 CGC ranked copy at 9.4. One of only 2 to make it this high! Only 4 copies even exist in 9.2 (out of 125 total copies submitted for grading thus far). Gorgeous looking comic book from early 1961. Cool sci fi cover by Gil Kane. Exactly cut and centered with old label cream to off-white pages. Just a stunning example of this almost impossible to obtain in high grade issue. Features the first appearance of Tomar-Re. The other surviving 9.4 example sold for $7,597 in June, 2013.
