Question 1: How do I register for the site?

Requirements:
You must have a valid mailing address/email address to register with Pedigree Comics.

Tutorial:

  • Step 1: Click the 'click here' link at the bottom of the 'Your Account' for new registrations.
  • Step 2: Fill out the entire form and click 'Register'.
  • Step 3: A registration confirmation email will be sent immediately to your account.
  • Step 4: Click the link provided in the URL or cut and paste it into your browser.
  • Step 5: You account will now be activated.
  • Step 6: Login in to the site.

 

Notes:
If you do not receive a registration confirmation email within 24hrs please contactwebdesigner@pedigreecomics.com from the email address you registered with and we will manually activate your account. If you do not confirm your account within 1 month you will have to register again.

Question 2: I cannot login my email/password is not being recognized?

Requirements:
You must be registered for the site, and your registration must be confirmed.

Tutorial:

  • Step 1: The login is case sensative, check the capitalization ofyour email address and password.
  • Step 2: If you have lost your password email webdesigner@pedigreecomics.com
  • Step 3: Once you have received the email with your temporary password login in to the site.
  • Step 4: Click the 'Customer Page' link under 'Your Account' in the bottom left.
  • Step 5: Click the 'Change Password' link.
  • Step 6: Select a new password and click the change password button.

Notes:
If you have received a temporary password for security reasons it is important to update your password as soon as possible.

Question 3: How do I register to consign books?

Requirements:
You must be registered for the site, and your registration must be confirmed.

Tutorial:

      Step 1: Click the 'Customer Page' link under 'Your Account' in the bottom left. 
      Step 2: Click the 'Consignments' link.
      Step 3: Click the checkbox and click 'Submit' button.
      Step 4: You may now enter the consignment system by clicking the image.

 

Notes:
Further instructions are available in the consignment system itself. All books that are uploaded will be reviewed withing 24hrs, and if approved listed on the site. All questions regarding the appropriateness of materials should be directed to DougSchmell@pedigreecomics.com. All scans for consigned books may be sent to DougSchmell@pedigreecomics.com

Question 4: I am not recieving emails from the site is there something I can do?

Requirements:
You must be registered for the site, and your registration must be confirmed. You must provide a valid email address

Tutorial:

      Step 1: Double check your capitalization of the email address you registered with. 
      Step 2: Add bid@pedigreecomics.com to your address book.
        Step 3: Contact 

webdesigner@pedigreecomics.com

       if you are still not recieving site emails.

Notes:
Some ISP's have installed automatic spam filters these can cause problems in recieving auto-matically generated messages like your our bid confirmation emails. It is always helpfull to double check the 'Current Bids' page to view the status of the bids that you have made.

Question 5: I accidently bid on a book is there a way to cancel it?

Requirements:
You must be logged into the site, and have a current bid pending on an item.

Tutorial:

      Step 1: Click the 'Customer Page' link under 'Your Account' in the bottom left.
      Step 2: Click the 'Current Bids' link.
      Step 3: Find the bid you would like to cancel and click the 'detail' button to the left of the bid.
      Step 4: Below the bid details click the 'Cancel Bid' button.

Notes:
You must cancel your bid the same day the bid has been placed. Any bids that are older then 1 Month will be automatically cancelled. If you have received an email that accepts, rejects, or offers a counterbid you can no longer cancel your bid.
