Pedigree Comics, Inc.’s Terms and Conditions

Forms of Payment accepted:
- Money Orders
- Checks (Personal, Cashier's, Bank and Company)
- Bank Wires (International and domestic)
- Credit Cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover Network)
- Paypal

Domestic payments made by Credit Card and Paypal are subject to a buyer's premium of 3%. International Credit Card orders are subject to buyer's premium of 4%. International PayPal Orders as subject to a 5.5% buyers premium.

Time/Lay-Away Payments:
Time/Lay-away payments are available on any purchases over $100.00. A 33% non-refundable down payment must be made within seven (7) business days and the balance can be spread out over ninety (90) days. Returns are not accepted on any items purchased with the time payment option. Contact us for further details or if you have any questions about the time payment process.

Refunds:
Pedigree Comics, Inc. sells only CGC and CBCS certified comic books and magazines to eliminate any confusion that "rose-colored glasses" may bring to the grading process. Therefore, every item we sell has been certified by a third party non-biased agent (CGC or CBCS). However, if for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you may return the item for a full refund, less the shipping and handling costs, within ten (10) days. Your satisfaction is guaranteed.

Shipping:
We ship all orders via USPS. All orders are shipped to the shipping address on file at the customer's Pedigree Comics user profile. The shipping charge is determined by weight.

Our new Domestic USPS shipping rates are as follows:

$22.00 for up to two (2) books plus $20.00 for each additional four (3) books to all states;

Important Note:
Due to their larger size Magazines are an additional $2 per magazine shipping surcharge. This surchage if applicable to this order does appear in the shipping total above.

We ship all international orders via USPS Global Express Mail. The shipping charge is determined by weight and we follow the USPS Global Express rates as follows:

$73.00 for up to two (2) books plus $14.00 for each additional two (2) books to Canada;

$80.00 for up to two (2) books plus $14.00 for each additional two (2) books to Mexico;

$90.00 for up to two (2) books plus $14.00 for each additional two (2) books to European countries;

$100.00 for up to two (2) books plus $14.00 for each additional two (2) books to all international countries other than Canada and Europe.

All domestic and international orders are fully covered and insured under Pedigree Comics, Inc.’s Collectibles Insurance Agency policy (Lloyd’s of London).

Consignment fees:
Consignment fees on the Pedigree Comics, Inc. Web site are a standard 10%. The consignor gets exactly 90% of the sale price (sellers commission) of any consigned item(s) with no hidden costs.

Consignment fees for Comics on the Pedigree Comics, Inc. Grand Auctions are on a climbing scale with the sellers commission increasing as follows:

  • 90% of the sale price for consigned item(s) that sell (winning bid) up to $10,000 (our consignment fee is 10%);
  • 91% Sellers Commission for consigned items that sell over $10,000 and up to $25,000 (our consignment fee is 9%);
  • 92% Sellers Commission for consigned items that sell over $25,000 and up to $50,000 (our consignment fee is 8%);
  • 94% Sellers Commission for consigned items that sell over $50,000 and up to $100,000 (our consignment fee is 6%);
  • 95% Sellers Commission for all consigned items that sell over $100,000 (our consignment fee is 5%).



Consignment fees for Original Comic Art on the Pedigree Comics, Inc. Grand Auctions are on a climbing scale with the sellers commission increasing as follows:

  • 90% Sellers Commission for consigned items that sell from $1,000 - $3,000 (our consignment fee is 10%);
  • 92% Sellers Commission for consigned items that sell from $3,000 and up to $80,000 (our consignment fee is 8%);
  • 93% Sellers Commission for consigned items that sell over $80,000 and above (our consignment fee is 7%);



Raw to Riches Consignment Service (A Full Service with Single Source Responsibility):

  • PEDIGREE COMICS will personally take your ungraded comic books or magazines directly to the CGC offices for submission. Simply call us in advance with a list of what you will be sending us, carefully pack and ship the books to our offices and your work is done!
  • We make frequent trips by car to the CGC headquarters in Sarasota, FL (usually once every 6 weeks) so your books can be safely and securely delivered for grading. PEDIGREE COMICS incurs all the risks involving the transport and delivery of your raw comics and magazines to the CGC and is fully insured under its Collectibles Insurance Agency policy (Lloyd’s of London).
  • We will fill out all of the necessary submission forms and submit your books under the PEDIGREE COMICS, INC. account in the appropriate grading service (tier) so you do not have to lay out any of the grading costs. We will deduct the grading costs (at our 20% discounted rate) from the sale of your CGC graded books on our website. There are no hidden fees or costs!!
  • We will personally pick up your books from the CGC and deliver them to our offices. This will save you from the potential hazards and expenses of having the CGC ship the books back to you. PEDIGREE COMICS similarly incurs all the risks involving the transport and delivery of your graded books to our offices. Our policy of insurance similarly covers the transport and holding of your CGC or CBCS graded books.
  • PEDIGREE will inventory, scan and upload your CGC or CBCS graded books onto the PedigreeComics.com website where they will be listed in the new arrivals section to be bidded upon and purchased.The books will be listed under your personal account and you will receive email notification of every bid and purchase made on any one of your books.
  • Only after the requisite dollar amount of sale(s) of your comic(s) or magazine(s) will the CGC grading fees be deducted from your consignment check, which is issued within two weeks of the respective sales.
  • We do all the work while you can relax and watch your CGC and CBCS graded books sell on our website. All of this for only 10% commission (you receive exactly 90% of the sale(s) price(s) of your book(s) after the deduction of the grading costs!!
