Best existing copy and one of only 11 in NM/M condition (out of over 280 copies so far submitted to the CGC). First appearance and origin of the Squadron Sinister with a most excellent Sal Buscema/Sam Grainger battle cover. Aside from being from one of the hottest titles, this rare, 9.8 Avengers key has not been identified properly in the Overstreet price guide and as such is under the radar of many collectors. The issue indeed constitutes the "true" First Full Appearance of the Squadron Sinister and it is not noted as such. Avengers 85 (the first appearance of the Squadron Supreme) is given credit as the first appearance of the "Squadron" when in fact there are 2 versions of the team (a good and bad) and the BAD TEAM CAME FIRST! Also, only characters from the "bad" team became permanent characters in the Marvel Universe. This is a key book and considering its rarity, it is a great investment item too. Nothing quite like 9.8 and white pages!
