Only the second 9.8 we've had on the site as they just don't come up for sale in this grade very often (the first one, from the Curator pedigree, sold for a record price of $65,500 in our May 2001 Grand Auction). This fabulous issue features the origin and first appearance of the Scorpion in a Stan Lee/Steve Ditko masterpiece. It is certainly one of the best covers of the Ditko run and a great investment issue. This copy is just immaculate: bone white, flat and bright. It is a strict 9.8 with no defects or handling wear.
